Balance Bodywork & Massage is hiring 2-3 part-time or full-time Licensed Massage Therapists to begin work at the beginning of March 2025. After several years of successful growth, we are expanding to a larger, beautiful clinic in North Bellingham near Bakerview Rd & I-5.

We are in the process of putting together a team of Massage Therapists to bring their talented skills to our community. This position is open to experienced Massage Therapists as well a newer therapists who are eager to learn and grow in this industry.

We are a therapeutic massage & bodywork-based clinic with a strong emphasis on Swedish massage, deep tissue, and myofascial work. We have a wide array of clients from those with acute and chronic conditions & injuries to those seeking wellness & balance. 

Desired Therapist Skills & Assets:

· Have a knowledgeable understanding of anatomy, physiology, and movement of the body.

· Ability to assess and treat the body as a whole, with an understanding of how the different body structures & components relate to one another.

· Foster a safe space for all healing, whether it be physical, mental, or emotional.

· Create positive working relationships with clients.

· Have good interpersonal communication skills to create solid trust and connection with clients and coworkers.

· Provide a welcoming workplace with effective communication and positive, goal driven energy that is respectful, collaborative and team-oriented.

· Maintain reliability, consistency, and dedication with clients, co-workers, and clinic.

· Being open to learning and expanding your skills to benefit your career and bring success to clients.

Required Qualifications:

• Massage Therapist Degree from a qualified, accredited program 

• Active Washington State Massage Therapist License 

• Active Massage Therapist Malpractice Insurance

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay with per hour massage rate, plus compensation for transition time between massages for room prep, charting, etc. 

• Retain 100% of tips, as well as commissions for upgrades & referrals.

• You will be added as a preferred provider under our clinic’s billing & insurance provider contracts. 

• Signing bonuses awarded after 6 months and 1 year of continuous employment.

• Flexible work schedule. Whether you prefer to work mornings, afternoons, or evenings, we will do our best to find hours that fit your life.

• Access to continuing education training, as well as providing mentoring & individual training as needed.
